Volunteer - Accounts Receivables Clerk

Pam joined Simplicity Ministries® in September 2009, volunteering her time to assist in the coordination of Simplicity's 10-year Anniversary Celebration Banquet in December 2009 and to help with the ministry's accounts receivables.  Her duties include handling mail, processing incoming checks, maintaining the database, and helping Mike with some correspondence.

Pam has been married to her husband, Dave, for 18 years, and they have a son and a daughter.  Zach is a 16-year-old sophomore at Reynolds High School, and Karina a 14-year-old 8th grader at Walt Morey Middle School.  Having been blessed with being a stay-at-home mom and very outgoing, Pam enjoys making herself available to volunteer in various ways for Christian ministries, school activities, and friends in need.  In her spare time, her interests include (but are in no means limited to) spending time with her family, fellowshipping with friends, meeting new people, playing card and board games, and singing.

Misty Downing, Vancouver, WA
Volunteer - Newsletter Print and Distribution

Misty joined Simplicity Ministries® in 2002, volunteering her time as an office assistant.  She keeps office supplies ordered and the newsletter printed and distributed each month.  Her two girls, Katie and Elizabeth, and husband, Steve, also volunteer each month folding the ministry's newsletter and stuffing envelopes for the monthly distribution.  In addition, Misty handles booking airline and rental arrangements for Mike's domestic travel.

Steve and Misty have been married 15 years, home-school their 12 year old twin girls, and are expecting a third baby girl September, '09.  Misty enjoys camping, trying out new recipes, scrapbooking and fellowshipping with friends.  Her favorite thing about volunteering for Simplicity has been "to watch what God does when people give just a little of their time and talents and how He uses their little bit to expand His kingdom in a big way."

Volunteer - Chief Editor & Newsletter Author

Debbie took responsibility of Simplicity's monthly newsletter in March 1999.  In addition, she is the Chief Editor of all publications, printed and online.  With her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hardin-Simmons University, she is a tremendous asset to the team.

Debbie enjoys readin, facebooking, scrapbooking, and dates with her husband.
